CommonBound: Deadline Extension and Open Positions

Jan 8, 2016 | News & Updates

Every day, NEC staff get to be inspired by the work of our members. From people building up solutions in their backyards to those leading some of today’s most dynamic social movements, it’s an honor for us to see the Coalition in action.

That’s why, inspired by the Allied Media Conference, NEC is taking a different approach to conference planning this year. As we announced a few weeks back, CommonBound 2016 will be taking place this July 8-11 in Buffalo, NY. But rather than deciding on the programming ourselves, we’re asking our members, allies, and you to convene spaces to grow and strengthen this work by coordinating Workshop Tracks and Network Gatherings.

You can find more about what it means to to be a CommonBound volunteer coordinator on our website or in this webinar we hosted yesterday for potential coordinators.

We are extending the deadlines to propose a Track or Network Gathering to January 19, 2016 at 11:59PM EST.

With your help, CommonBound 2016 will be like nothing we’ve ever done before. Propose your track or network gathering today.

Onward,

Anand Jahi
Program Director, New Economy Coalition

P.S. To make CommonBound happen, we’re looking to hire for a Project Coordinator, based with our hosts in Buffalo, and a Project Manager open to applicants based anywhere. Click here to learn more and apply for these exciting positions.
