Pittsburgh Chamber of Cooperatives– Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The mission of the PCOC is to develop and implement a cooperative business infrastructure – an eco-system for worker-owned and member-owned businesses to thrive – in the Pittsburgh area. We work with Pittsburgh’s cooperatives, inclusive initiatives, and individuals.   The PCOC raises awareness of cooperative business culture, facilitates the formation of new cooperatives, assists in the conversion of existing businesses to cooperatives, provides guidance on cooperative governance, builds community loyalty to cooperatives, and brings visibility to the triple bottom line advantage of cooperative businesses in the region.

Partnership for the Public Good– Buffalo, New York

The Partnership for the Public Good builds a more just, sustainable, and culturally vibrant community through action-oriented research, policy development, and citizen engagement.

Power Shift Network- Washington D.C. / National

Through the collective power of young people and the Millennial Generation, the Power Shift Network is working for a safe climate and just future where communities are thriving and own their power—whether that power is electrical, economic, social, or political.

Soulardarity- Detroit, Michigan

Soulardarity is building energy democracy in Highland Park, MI and its neighboring communities through organizing, education, and developing community-owned clean energy.

Faith, Economy, Ecology– Washington D.C. / National

Faith, Economy, Ecology is a collaborative of faith-based organizations and individuals who believe that humanity is being called to radically change its interactions with each other and Earth. We endorse the founding document, “A Call to Integrate Faith, Ecology and the Global Economy”, and work to embody the paradigm shift described in it. We work together for changes at all levels of society to help build a New Creation that is inclusive of all and that fits within the physical capacities of Earth.

Project South- Atlanta, Georgia / Regional

Project South is a Southern-based leadership development organization that creates spaces for movement building. We work with communities pushed forward by the struggle– to strengthen leadership and to provide popular political and economic education for personal and social transformation. We build relationships with organizations and networks across the US and global South to inform our local work and to engage in bottom-up movement building for social and economic justice.

Ujima Company Inc. – Boston, Massachusetts

Ujima Company Inc. (UCI) is a multi-ethnic and multicultural professional theatre whose primary purpose is the preservation, perpetuation and performance of African American theatre by providing working opportunities for established artists and training experience for aspiring artists. Ujima is a Swahili word meaning “collective work and responsibility” and it is from this tenet that we derive our purpose.

New Economy Project- New York, New York

New Economy Project’s mission is to build a new economy that works for all, based on principles of cooperation, democracy, equity, racial justice, and ecological sustainability.  We work with community groups to achieve this mission by (1) challenging corporations that harm communities and perpetuate inequality and poverty; and (2) building strong local economies, by fostering democratically-structured, community-controlled initiatives such as worker cooperatives, community development credit unions, community land trusts, and mutual housing. We believe a world is possible in which all people live in safe, healthy, thriving communities, and that fundamental change is needed to achieve that world.

BYP100- Chicago, Illinois

BYP100 is an activist member-based organization of Black 18-35 year olds, dedicated to creating justice and freedom for all Black people through building a network focused on transformative leadership development, direct action organizing, advocacy, and education.

Cooperative Development Program of the Center for Family Life– New York, New York

The Cooperative Development Program's mission is to support community residents’ efforts to organize cooperative businesses and establish a platform for achieving economic goals. The mission is achieved through the execution of collective economic strategies that enable individuals to gain personal economic stability and a positive sense of self-agency, which lift up communities and improve the economic success of their residents.

Open Buffalo- Buffalo, New York

Open Buffalo is a community movement for social and economic justice. Our vision is an equal and just region open to full democratic participation by all its residents, open to innovative ideas and policies; open to new leaders from disadvantaged communities; and open to meaningful economic opportunity and sustainable wealth creation for all.
