A presentation and discussion with Dr. Jessica Gordon Nembhard.

Dr. Nembhard will be sharing an inspiring set of stories from her research and community organizing experience, focused on how African American communities have created benefit and overcome challenges through cooperative organizing. There will be sections focused on North Carolina history, past roles of women, and lessons that can be applied to current organizing efforts.
