Mar 19, 2024 | News & Updates, Resources

Resource alert! New Economy Coalition’s Movement Resourcing Working Group has just launched a Solidarity Economy Funding Library, which includes 350+ funders, non-extractive investors, and fiscal sponsors.

NEC was honored to have nearly 1,500 people register for a launch event entitled, “Will the Revolution Be Funded?” on March 6th, 2024. During the event, we heard from groups  that are working within, without, and against philanthropy. Speakers included Suparna Kure of CoFED, Alan Ramirez of PODER Emma, Tiny Gray-Garcia of POOR Magazine / Homefulness Project, Erik Forman of The Driver’s Cooperative, Shardé Nabors of New Economy Coalition / Black Solidarity Economy Fund, and Brel Hutton-Okpalaeke of Land Justice Futures.
