Help Us Grow Our Roots in the Solidarity Economy

Nov 13, 2019 | News & Updates

In 2020, we’re ready to take our work deeper. But we need your support! Our goal is to raise $100K by the end of the year, so that we can build a solidarity economy movement that cannot and will not be ignored. Our Interim Co-Director, Kelly Baker, explains why your support is crucial as we enter a new decade:

Dear Friends,

As we close this decade, it feels like everything is coming to a head. Protests across the globe are demanding real change. We will no longer allow our land, labor, and people to be exploited for profit. We choose a different path. As the extractive economy burns, the solidarity economy grows.

New Economy Coalition is building the power of the solidarity economy in the U.S. For decades, our members have been transforming the way we live, work, eat, and do business – to keep our communities strong and our planet healthy.

Grow the U.S. Solidarity Economy. Give to NEC’s Annual Fund.

We are working together to fundamentally transform our economy. And it’s working. Our ideas — from co-ops to public banks — are moving to the center of popular demand. Pop stars and presidential candidates are calling for the solutions our members have been building for generations.

People are ready to invest in a new economy. Together, we will build what comes next.

Donate today to tranform tomorrow.

Your gift will help:

  1. Host national convenings to develop incisive strategy across movements.
  2. Equip our members with training and technical assistance – to take the work to the next level.
  3. Engage allies in building a movement that cannot and will not be ignored.
As we approach 2020, we are digging in and going deep. This new decade will force us to meet challenges and opportunities never before seen in human history. We’re ready.

With gratitude,

Kelly Baker
