Not Just Bakers: Arizmendi Bakery just hit 20 years of operating. The worker-owned cooperative has grown from one lone shop to six locations across the Bay Area. Worker-owner Amy Happ lays out the benefits of co-ops: "Before the financial collapse people said things like, 'Oh. You're just a baker.' But when we're going through a recession, people are amazed by our stability."
#Divest: NoDAPL was a major moment for the divestment movement having spurred countless individuals and even some banks to pull their money from projects funding the pipeline. So what does the divestment movement need now? Keep organizing.
