We’re thrilled to announce four new organizations have joined our coalition this month! Here's a quick round-up of who they are, what they do, and why we're so excited to have them:

Arthur Morgan Institute for Community Solutions

The Arthur Morgan Institute for Community Solutions seeks to educate people around the world about ways to make their communities more resilient, vital, and capable of withstanding the dramatic shifts due to climate and economic disruptions. In addition to the overarching focus on resilient communities, AMICS addresses four interrelated strategic target areas: regenerative land use; energy democracy; community economics; and being the change, or enabling people of all ages and stations to make real and demonstrable change toward a better world.

First Nations Oweesta Corporation

Oweesta's mission is to provide opportunities for Native people to develop financial assets and create wealth by assisting in the establishment of strong, permanent institutions and programs contributing to the economic independence and strengthening sovereignty for all Native communities.

National Economic and Social Rights Initiative

In partnership with communities, NESRI works to build a broad movement for economic and social rights, including health, housing, education and work with dignity. Based on the principle that fundamental human needs create human rights obligations on the part of the government and private sector, NESRI advocates for public policies that guarantee the universal and equitable fulfillment of these rights in the United States.

Sol Collective

Sol Collective is a community-based 501(c)(3) partnership whose mission is to provide artistic, cultural, and educational programming, promote social justice, and empower youth through art, activism, music, and media experience.
