I’m a mother, organizer, author, and poet, and I'm part of the New Economy Coalition network of almost 190 groups. NEC is a breath of fresh air at a time when social justice and grassroots organizers and community members are burning candles on both ends. NEC gives us space to create a vision of the world we know can exist. I wrote the poem at the end of this message about the NEC network.
